FIELD TRIP FOR STAFFS

Today, 16 Sept 2011, all of staffs of Food Science and Technology Department UNS are going to JAVAPLANT in Karanganyar, Central of Java. This factory visit is aiming to extend our experience and knowledge in the area of food industry, as well as to discuss opportunity to develop a relationship between our department and the factory.

JAVAPLANT was established in 2000 which has specialize in botanical extraction. This production capacity of JAVAPLANT is 115 tons of botanical extract per month. JAVAPLANT supplies food, beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, and agriculture industry in all around Indonesia. JAVAPLANT is also ISO certified, US FDA registered, C-TPAT compliant, Halal certified, and Khoser certified. Based on this company profile, our department is interested to build a cooperation, so our student can be easy to learn more about food industry facilitated by JAVAPLANT. May, our student can work there regularly as apprentice in internship program.
