Department of Food Science and Technology UNS conducted field trip for student, particularly who are now studying in 5th Semester, during 14-18 Nov 2011.\u00a0 There were four industries visited by student, PT Amerta Indah Otsuka (Pocari Sweat)<\/em> in Pasuruan, PT Sierad Produce<\/em> in Sidoarjo, PT United Biscuit Manufacure <\/em>in Sidoarjo, PT Sari Segar Laut<\/em> in Denpasar, and Kacang Asin Cah Ayu<\/em> in Gianyar.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0This event is aiming to extend student’s experience and knowledge in the area of food industry. Students have greater opportunities for discussing about food industry with practitioners and professionals in every factory visited. Hence, relating to Plan Design Subject, this factory visit also could help the student to understanding every aspect should be considered to build a food industry.<\/p>\n

Finally, by this activity, students know deeper the implementation and the relevance of their study with their bright future. So, studying in Department of Food Science and Technology is not a wrong way, certainly !<\/p>\n
