The medium of instruction is English. AsTW was launched in March 2009 and has been co-organized by Kyushu University (Japan) and Mahidol University (Thailand). After successfully hosting three sessions at Mahidol University, AsTW moved to Ateneo de Manila University (the Philippines) in 2012.
